Opening in Rufisque
The school opened in Rufisque with 115 students from preschool to CM2, laying the foundations of the educational project.
2020
Reorganisation during the pandemic
Temporary closure due to COVID-19. Reorganisation and launch of middle school with a first cohort preparing for the brevet exam.
2021
Dynamic reopening
Dynamic reopening of the school. Significant progress in construction works and opening of the first high school classes up to Grade 10.
2022
First baccalaureate classes
Opening of the first baccalaureate classes. A remarkable 82.7% success rate confirmed the strength of the educational project.
2023
Infrastructure expansion and international opening
Infrastructure expansion. First language trips in Europe, marking a stronger international opening.
2024
Stabilisation and structuring
A phase of stabilisation and structuring. Development of international partnerships and consolidation of the school project.
2025
Cultural storytelling festival
Launch of the first storytelling and cultural expression festival, promoting creativity and students' cultural roots.
2026
IB diploma candidacy
Kambal became a candidate school for the IB Diploma Programme, marking a major step toward internationally oriented excellence.
