History, educational project and team: discover what makes Groupe Scolaire Kambal unique in Dakar.
Ms Soukeyna KAMARA
In the heart of Cité Sipres, Zac Mbao, Groupe Scolaire Kambal reinvents educational excellence in Senegal. Rooted in African values and open to the world, our school favours small class sizes and early integration of digital tools and languages. With an outstanding teaching team, we train tomorrow's citizens around a strong ambition: « Where there's a will there's a way ».

Class councils, associations and dialogue: student success is built on trust between family and school.
School history
Groupe Scolaire Kambal was born from a dream — that of Ms Soukeyna Diabira Kamara, a trained teacher who has always been passionate about education.
Drawing on a rich life path across France, Egypt (where she lived for over 18 years) and Senegal, she drew on these cultures to imagine a school that is demanding and caring, rooted in academic excellence yet open to the world, modernity and each student's reality.
Kambal brings together the strengths of the Senegalese system, international teaching methods and a deeply human vision of school.
Since its creation, the school keeps innovating to shape not only bright students but young people who are fulfilled, curious and confident.

Our school project
The subjects we teach and our programmes alongside the national curriculum support learning in every field:
Language / literature
Mathematics / computing
History / geography
Environmental, physical & natural sciences
PE / moral & religious education
Music / Art / Sport
Digital skills and change
In an era of digital transformation in Africa, exponential growth calls for matching digital literacy.
Computer science is therefore integral to our education. To increase their chances of success, teaching reflects the realities of the Senegalese, African and global job markets.
Beyond subject teaching, openness to the world is strengthened through critical thinking.

School doesn't forget to celebrate
So children can flourish, including through traditional and modern music, the new E-Mucem opens its doors and brings celebration to school through:
